About Us
Mission Statement- Providing tailored services by partnering with community and organizations to assist our neighbors throughout Cochise County.
Vision Statement- A center of excellence for successful partnerships between community and agency.
Created March of 2019 as a response to the lack of organized networking capabilities on social media. What was meant to be a networking venue online, turned into an organization so unique, that we’ve created and built bridges between agencies and community members. Where others provide ‘cookie cutter’ services, we enact the community, provide customized services-such as meeting the needs of those with dietary restrictions, providing essential support, delivery, and 24hour support and response to emergency/crisis personnel like police, DCS, CBI, and Area Agency on Aging.
For example, many of our elders in the community are allotted $8-$24 a month in EBT (food stamps). Over half of those elders have dietary restrictions such as diabetes, celiacs disease, lactose intolerance, and even food dye allergies. Many different agencies get contacted and reports are made-where they've been found emaciated, eating out of a garbage can, or resorting to their pets food.
Upon being contacted, we immediately place that member on a permanent weekly food box where we incorporate foods that not only meet their dietary needs, but also keep to what they need, what they'll eat and omit what they already have and won't eat.
If a child is removed from their home without necessities, we provide whatever necessities are needed to ensure that child is taken care of.
We incorporate the generosity of our community and allow them to do what they love to do-which is help their fellow neighbor. By being the bridge between agencies and community members, we are strengthening and building trust. By engaging the community, we are providing the outlet needed by vetting those claiming assistance is essential.
We are not cookie-cutter. We are not your everyday food bank. We are unique by design, and unlike any charity organization to date.
