Come join us in spreading joy and awareness during AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH!

Chiricahua Community Health Centers is excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual Autism Awareness Walk, happening on April 6th, 2024, at 1pm at the beautiful Raul Castro Park, located at 700 E 10th St, Douglas, AZ.

Get ready for an afternoon filled with positivity and inspiration! We'll be joined by special guest speakers from Tucson and Cochise County, along with the lively Be Kind Crew from The Be Kind People Project.

LET'S PAINT THE PARK BLUE by wearing your favorite shade of blue as a symbol of support and solidarity with the autism community. Together, we'll take steps towards understanding and acceptance.

Save the date, rally your friends and family, and let's make this event one to remember!

In Sierra Vista, Cochise College is set to open its doors to the public for its annual Expo and Open House. Scheduled for Friday, April 19, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., the free public event is a family-friendly atmosphere filled with interactive activities and learning opportunities at the college’s Sierra Vista Campus, located at 901 North Colombo Ave.

This year’s Expo will have 50 interactive activities designed to entertain and educate attendees of all ages. Highlights include cutting-edge virtual reality and simulators, hands-on photo and video equipment demonstrations, and an insight into the history of the Strong Oak Historical Games, featuring participants in full costume. Attendees can also look forward to a tire-changing station with automotive technology and lively DJ Music by Black Crown Entertainment. All are welcome.

April is Donate Life Month, where we recognize and shine a light on the gift of organ, eye, and tissue donation.

We will be holding a poetry night event with food and music on Wednesday April 24th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

We invite all poets to register by emailing Natoyah.Swift@canyonvistamedicalcenter.com, by April 19th. The theme is “Celebration of Life.”

This FREE event will be held in the CVMC cafeteria and is open to the public to attend.
