HELP us by being a RED KETTLE volunteer bellringer from November 24th through December 24th, 2023!

The Red Kettle Campaign is in its 132nd year and raises around 13 percent of the gifts to The Salvation Army in Sierra Vista for the entire year.
Our goal for this year’s Red Kettle Campaign i is to raise 130k to help keep the lights on all year and keep doing what we do best, and that is share HOPE with others who may be struggling right here in our community.

There is a concern that those who have given so generously in the past may not be able to give as much this year with the state of the economy, but we hope people will find it in their hearts to give what they can spare to help their neighbors in need.

We are always in need of volunteer bell ringers. Volunteering at a Red Kettle for just one hour can raise enough money to help The Salvation Army put food on the table for more than 10 people. That’s a small amount of time to give for such a large impact.

More volunteers at our kettles means more of the money donated can fund the programs and services The Salvation Army has to help people.
Bell ringing is fun, easy and an excellent way to give back to the community. For groups, organizations and companies, it is great for team building and a fantastic way to embrace the spirit of the season.

Contact your local Salvation Army or visit SalvationArmySouthwest.org for more information about volunteering or you can simply sign up Online at https://sierravista.salvationarmy.org/ - Left side middle of page there is a Heart icon stating "Volunteer In This community"....click on that, and all of our volunteers oppurtunities are posted right there!https://youtu.be/Hi0LP8m6IaU

For many, donating to Red Kettles is a family tradition passed down to future generations. Kids love it when parents give them money to put in a kettle, and that is a great opportunity for parents to talk to their kids about how those donations help people in need.

Around 82 cents of every dollar donated to The Salvation Army goes directly to fund our services. That’s one of the highest ratios of any charity in the nation. The Salvation Army’s signature Red Kettle was introduced in San Francisco in 1891 to provide a free holiday dinner to the poor.
